The English Preparatory Programme in Economics is designed to prepare students for degree-level study in the field of Economics at the International College of Economics and Finance, as well as other HSE University schools. Student international academic mobility has been an integral part of life at HSE University for a long time. Every year, hundreds of HSE students study abroad at universities all over the world.  Even now, during the pandemic, many of them did not come back to Russia, opting instead to continue their studies abroad. Students spoke with the HSE News Service about life in the university dorms during quarantine and taking their programme courses and exams online.

After HSE University transitioned to distance learning, life in the HSE dormitories changed: most students have gone home. The number of onsite staff and service employees has been reduced. Large events have been cancelled. Student trips into the city have been limited. HSE University Life spoke with students and staff about what life under quarantine is like in the dorms.

On May 31, MIEM students will present their projects at the Institute’s annual exhibition, which this year will be held online. Of 200 team projects created at the Institute this past academic year, the expo will feature the 25 most brilliant and successful, both in terms of innovation and practicality.
